Time Capsule

The Community Heart team worked in conjunction with the Wigan Education Business Partnership to organise a Time Capsule burial at Grand Arcade, Wigan, which gave local schools in the area a chance to choose which Wigan objects they would like to make history.

Six schools entered and winning entries that were to be included in the time capsule were Wigan Athletic hats and scarves, a local radio station Wish FM play list, a poem and a telephone directory. The day went fantastically well with both the press and the local radio station turning up.
